Here are a few places to see in Mysore-

Mysore Palace

Mysore Palace

Ambavilas Palace is the residence of the descendants of the Wadiyars in Mysore. The current structure was constructed between 1897 and 1912 after it was burnt in a fire. It is the second most visited monument after the Taj Mahal getting 6 million visitors.

The architecture is Indo – Saracenic with blends of Rajput and Gothic styles. The palace faces the Chamundi Hills as the Kings of this dynasty were devotees of Goddess Chamundi who was believed to be in the vicinity of the Chamundi Hills.

Brindaban gardens

It is a garden located in the Krishnasagar dam, It was completed in the year 1932 and is visited by 2 million visitors each year.

This garden has musical fountains which start at night and Ficus trees. Fruit orchards also are located within the park.
