The Queen of Arabian Sea- Kochi

Hey people! welcome to a new city of Kerala in the South West Coast of India.It is one of the top destinations of Kerala. This city was called the Queen of Arabian Sea. Kochi was an important spice trading centre from 14th century onward and maintained a trade network of Arab merchants. It was the first colony in colonial India. Kochi is  known as the financial, industrial and commercial capital of Kerala. From 1503 to 1603; Cochin was ruled by Portugal. Kochi’s St Francis houses the grave of Vasco Da Gama. It also became the first Indian state to join the Indian union in the 1950′.
