Ranakpur- Jain Pilgrimage centre
This is one of the best cities and destinations to visit in Rajasthan, it is a Jain pilgrimage centre. This is a village located between Jodhpur and Udaipur. The nearest railway station is Falna railway station. It has impeccable architecture and a large population of monkeys. It has a lot of Jain temples built by Dharma Shah, a local Jain merchant of the 12-13th centuries, it also has a Surya temple managed by the kings of Udaipur. The Jain temples are dedicated to the first Tirthankara Lord Adianath.

It is located in a huge complex and is the main temple. It is dedicated to Lord Adinath, the first Tirtankara; Chaumakha is very huge and has 29 pillars and 144 halls built in the 15th century. It has engraved windows of Jain motifs close to this temple are other temples dedicated to other temples like Parsvnath, Neminath and Surya temple with a wooden chariot going around the sun and another temple which is Amba Mata.

This is a temple dedicated to Lord Adinath. A local businessman called Dharma Shah started building this temple in the 15th century . Now it is run by a Swetabhar trust.
