Ranthambore- The roar of the tiger

Hey people ! No visit to Rajasthan is complete without visiting one of the most talked about wildlife sanctuaries for romanticizing the tiger. It also contains a historic fort and the Talao lake built by the Rathore Rajputs in the 10th century as an escape for attacks. Rani Dewali is one of the most famous queens of the dynasty for her bravery. The park called Sawai Madhopur is housed in the jungle fort which also has crocodiles, deer, birds and other animals. The best time for tiger sightings is in the months of November and May. It has one of the largest banyan trees in India. It also includes 539 species of flowering plants.

There are also Jain temples constructed in the 12th and 13th centuries of the medieval period.
